Base Jacks are inserted into the bottom end of the Standards to provide the required vertical height adjustment. Base Jacks are also considered the “feet” of the scaffold structure.

Scaffolding: Joint Pin
To connect scaffold tubes end to end a joint pin (or expanding spigot can be used). The joint pin or spigot is inserted into the end of the scaffold tubes and a centre bolt is tightened. This tightening causes the two parts of the joint pin to expand gripping the ends of the scaffold tubes.

- Fixed Clamp is a load bearing coupler used for connecting two scaffold tubes at the right angle.
- Swivel Clamp is a load bearing coupler that connects two scaffold tubes, which can be used at any angle.
Scaffolding: Step Ladder
Using a step ladder provides a safe and secure way of working even on uneven structures like stairs. To safely work on stairs, the rear legs of the ladder need to be at a shorter angle than the front legs, which provide support for the whole device.
